I want to grow my hair out but...?

I want my hair to grow faster. I try to do all the things they say to do but i straighten my hair every day. My hair is extreamly curly and i dont like it so i straighten it everyday. Sience i try to do all the other stuff do i really need to stop straightening my hair??? help soon please!! -Zoe
