Car wouldn't idle? What probably happened?

I have a 1995 dodge neon and it's been raining since Monday. Today I drove it and the card was idling just fine. But after it rained, and I turned on the car and started idling, the car hesitated and couldn't move. I had the A/C on by the way and when I turned it off, it was just fine. What could it be?
